Fairly decent contenderDate: 2008-12-26 Rating: 8 out of 10For a unit that is virtually unknown on the market, the Navsgo GO760 7" is a fairly decent contender. The best part of this multi-functional GPS unit is the awesome "7 TFT touch control screen. Everything looks so much better and much more enjoyable at this viewing size. The GPS system is very fast and has a lot of functionality that you would find in top of the line portable units. The built in video player and MP3 player offer decent sight and sound respectfully. Bluetooth works great with my Sony Ericsson and the picture viewing and E-book function are a plus for a unit of this price. However, there is always room for improvement. For starters, customer support needs to have a quick access phone number as it takes a few days to get a reply by e-mail when there is an issue. The instruction manual needs some serious attention as it leaves you guessing and is crudely written. The menu icons and program graphics are not very sophisticated. The lithium battery charge life is very short so you will need to keep the power cables near by. All GPS software and media files can only be stored on the 2 GB SD card. The new 4Gb and up SD HC cards will not work with this unit, so you will have to buy a new standard SD card for media play back or plug in an IPod via the AV input. Also the warranty period is relatively short (15 days for a full refund). Despite these minor annoyances in my opinion, the Navsgo GO760 7" is a good deal for the price compared to all the tiny units that cost way more. I would recommend this unit if you are looking for something more than just a basic GPS unit.

I cover every square inch of this countrys roads. 7 years experience using a GPS system. Just purchased the Navsgo 760. Long time user of Garmin systems. Far more complex in daily use than Garmin. POI's are cumbersom to use and find. Unit has comparable resolution to a Garmin 7200. Many nice features. Shows state borders on the trip Itenary. Auto adjusts to the correct time zone as you cross into different time zones. You can find POI's and services along your current route, not just in the general area. You can set the unit to auto recalculte a route or not. Nice feature. Saving routes, imputing multiple Via points, and saving your own favorites are very well done. Blue tooth for the phone is functional. I have a Verizon phone so many of the functions for this units Blue tooth may be limited. If you want to use your GPS as a hands free calling device get a ATT phone. Especially true for Garmin. In my opinion the Navsgo 760 is faster for route calculation the the Garmin 7200. Poor customer support. No one to call. trying to find out how to imput my own POI's but have had to respnse from NAVSGO. Good product. Well worth the money. They need to improve customer support.
Just heard from customer support. You cannot load your own POI's into the device. I would not recommendthis product.~~~Product demo video~~~Datum 2008-11-20 Rang: 10 von 10Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R130W3SGQQ3ZUL
