PROPANE HEATER MAY HEAT A TABLE, NOT A PATIO!Date: 2008-12-28 Rating: 4 out of 10The 2 units I ordered arrived promptly and in good condition despite being in the middle of the Xmas madness. The units were FAIRLY easy to assemble. All the parts were there and they were well labelled. Only a few minor errors in the assembly instructions. One unit ignited easily while the other was a bit of a problem but eventually did. My main concern is the distance the unit puts heat out. The online description says it "reaches out UP to a full 15 feet around the unit (175 sq/ft)". I really have severe doubts and questions about that. I stood 5 feet from it and felt NO HEAT whatsoever, even though the burners were on high. If you plan to use this to keep your plants from freezing, like I am, you should know that the first night, with the burner on high, it used up 1 full propane tank. This could get expensive!
