After that I put the spy pen in the computer and there was a voice only without a video. Afetr charging the pen spy camera, It did not work. Then I tried to see whats in it in different computers and the computers says that the usb is not recognized. And the blue light is still there.Good, but it has its bugs.Datum 2008-10-27 Rang: 8 von 10Excellent for covert and hidden use. Looks and writes like a normal pen. Considering how small the pinhole camera is the quality is alright, but don't expect HD quality stuff. Think web-cameras from 7 years ago. The microphone works as well as a cell phone recorder, so if there is alot of background noise it wont catch a voice with any real clairty. My major gripes with it are the indicator light and the inbedded date/time stamp automatically put on all the videos. It's rather hard to use something covertly that's supposed to look like a pen, when its blinking, but it does it on the reverse side of the camera, so its fairly easy to overlook. And for some reason the date/time is put on all the videos in the upper left hand corner, which is highly annoying when you want a clear video. It also seems odd to have 4 GB of space that can hold 20+ hours of video, but a battery that only lasts for 2 hours. It also takes a while to recharge, but it can be done with either the included AC/DC adapter or through your USB drive. The camera section can film indepedntly of the pen section which could be useful.
The pencam is best used from a stationairy posistion and picks up video more clearly than if you were to wear it in your shirt pocket. Movement dosn't track well with the fps. Basically you have your trade offs. If you're wanting quality video buy a camcorder or digital camera for that purpose. If your wanting something for covert use that's difficut to detect, use this. You won't get DVD quality, but you can make out what you need to see and hear. It also doubles as a USB flash drive so thats an added bonus if you want to store stuff temporarily.
