I read reviews on SVP Cameras and some were not encouraging, however, the review of this one on Amazon got me to order one. I have not been disappointed. It is quite handy and images are pretty good. I enjoy the possibility of recording without making others nervous. Of course like many others, you will need external lighting when and where light is insufficient. The AVI video file can be easily converted to VCD or DVD files for use in common players.

I have not used other functions much, but I am happy with what I have so far.

This is a product for future personal/home video recording.
