Best Compact Camera I have owned !!!Date: 2008-11-30 Rating: 10 out of 10The "Super Steady Shot" is unbelievable. All the pictures I have taken have been blur free without using a tripod. Want a picture indoors without using flash to get that natural feeling this the camera is for you. Can't say enough about the auto focus. All the options you could think of. Amazon's FREE shipping arrived fast and packaged very well.

The Camera itself feels pretty solid and goodlooking, actually that was one of the main reasons that i bought it because i don't like how "Canon's" looks like no matter canons are great machines..

So far I have been pleased with the camera. For the price of the camera the pictures I have taken and the movies I have made are very good. The only bad thing is pictures taken using the flash don't turn out very good. But you can take pictures in low light that do turn out good. Click on the Traveler Videos to see some videos taken with the camera. The videos will look a little choppy due to the web site's size limitation. You can also see some raw photos taken with the Sony. Click on Traveler Photos, look for the ones labeled rangerbob1957. I was amazed with the quality and features this camera has and its size. I took some picture in NYC using the HIGH ISO and the photos were with just a few noise. I took pictures of my girlfriend's cats and they were awesome. Also I took it to a big party and the quality in a dark disco was awesome. And finally I used it to take pictures and record the F1 GP the shots quality were good too. Very impressed with the quality of the movie recorded. My only issue is with the smile detection, some time it does not allow me to take pictures but I did not have time to explore the manual. I am wondering to buy another for myself.
