dont get them wetDate: 2008-11-20 Rating: 4 out of 10I got these for metal detecting in the fall .I used them in 20+ degree weather and they did okay until I got them wet from the dirt and then they froze my finger tips. They are quality gloves with good materials and workmanship but if they advertise them towards cold weather then they are way off base. I put on some regular mechanix gloves from my truck and kept going and my hands stayed warmer than the cold comfort gloves .And once they get damp, forget it, you are better off with your bare hands in your pockets .

BewertungenREAD ALL THE COMMENTS BEFORE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE!Datum 2007-04-07 Rang: 2 von 10THESE GLOVES AREN'T EITHER WATERFROOF OR ZERO PLUS CONDITION,THEY GOT SOAKED QUIK AND THE LINER BROKE OFF REALLY EASY, I ENDED UP RIPPING THE LINER OUT AND USE THEM AS A NORMAL GENERAL DUTY GLOVE.....
UNFORTUNATELY THERE ISN'T MANY GLOVES THAT SUIT THOSE CHARACTERISTICS, I'M A BIG IRONCLAD FAN BUT THESE DON'T LIVE TO THEIR EXPECTATION......... TERRIBLE!!Great Work GlovesDatum 2006-06-18 Rang: 8 von 10I work in frozen foods department at a grocery store. These are the first gloves I have own that have lasted longer than a week. They are durable enough for me to open boxes and handle ice cream yet they are flexable enough for me to handle small items. I highly recommend them for anyone who has to work in a cold enviroment for long periods of time.I bought another pair for when I am gardening.Datum 2005-12-16 Rang: 8 von 10I think this glove is pretty good as long as you know what you are getting. You are getting a glove that will keep your hands warm down to about freezing. It isn't really very water-resistant, which is to bad. It is tough and fairly warm for the thickness which means I can use it outside in the spring and fall when I am gardening and still feel what I am doing fairly well. It also somehow keeps rose thorns from penetrating to my fingers so is very good for cutting old rose canes. Best gloves I've used.Datum 2004-12-07 Rang: 8 von 10The best thing about them is the way they fit, like a glove -so to speak. Perfect for working in cold but dry conditions. The stiching started coming undone after about 3 months of constant use of outdoor and indoor carpentry work. The only thing I don't like is the price. None the less, at one pair a winter and untill I find a better type I'll keep buying these over the compitition.
