Very NiceDate: 2002-02-27 Rating: 8 out of 10I originally saw these torches in one of those 'upscale' (read high priced) catalogs but did not want to pay such a high price. Then I discovered these very same items in Amazon.com and at a much lower price. So the rule here is: Find what you like, but check Amazon because it will most likely be at a better price.The torches are of good quality and actually somewhat larger than what I expected, yet they look great. My only problem was that one pole attachment was broken in one set that I ordered. This was due to the fact that the manufacturer's packaging is more for retail stocking and not so robust for UPS shipping....

Many of the competing brands looked nice on-line; however, after viewing them at a local retailer, they were of poor construction.We made the decision to purchase these given their sturdy construction and upon shipment, we were pleasantly surprised! They were as advertised! The copper bowl is gorgeous and the frame and base are of solid steel with a copper finish. These are definately recommended!
